“I guess so, but I would hate to ever hurt you, even unintentionally. I just hope that if I ever have to do so, that you do as you say, and forgive me eventually, because I was after all at least honest. Though your kindness is one of the many things I love about you, and your constantly forgiving nature, you are far too good to everyone around you, and I am sure some people take advantage of your wonderful nature. I just wish you would stick up for yourself more, that you would fight back more sometimes.” Michael sighed, nudging his nose against hers softly, “Still, you have said you will try, I believe you, and I will be here to help you, if you need me, ok. You just have to ask.” Michael hugged her tightly, kissing her gently.
“I know you wouldn’t hurt me on purpose.” Antonia smiled at him, brushing her thumbs gently over his cheeks. “I forgive easily,yes. But that is because I believe that there is good in everybody. Some people are just better at hiding.” She shrugged and thought for a second if she should really tell him about what she was intending to do. But in the end she had to tell him, everything else would come close to lying and the last thing she wanted to do was lie to him. “That is probably why I’m going to do something stupid. I … I will give Caleb another chance to explain himself. I’ll meet him in the common room later, I’m not going to talk to him alone anywhere. I just thought I should tell you …” Antonia looked at him, a little nervous about his reaction. “Thank you for that offer. I’m sure I will need all the help I can get.” She smiled before he pulled her closer and she pushed her lips back into the kiss.

You’re very welcome, you know I would do anything for you, you’re practically family, you mean a great deal to me, and I will do anything to make you happy. You do not need to thank me know, but you already knew that, and no matter how many times I say it, you always ignore me.” Theodore waggled his finger at her, and then laughed. “Oh I will try very hard not to kill him. His blood is pure after all, and I know Mia, such as myself, does her very best not to spill the blood of the pures. However, I also know that neither of us will hesitate to destroy him, if he hurts you! So as long as he doesn’t hurt our little snake, then I am sure we will all get along famously. So, yes, make sure you come and see me once you have spoken to him ok? I will be here, I am always here for you, just make sure you come and find me afterwards, or there will be trouble!” Theodore kissed her forehead, and soothed the hair from her face gently.
“I know I don’t have to thank you. But I will just keep doing that.” Antonia giggled when he waggled his finger at her. Yes, she did ignore him in that point but she thought it was a better thing to thank someone, especially if that someone always did so much for her as Theodore, than to apologise even though she was doing that quite frequently as well. She smiled at him grateful that he showed her how much he cared for her. “I will come and tell you about it afterwards … But I feel like I will do the easier thing first and talk to Caleb. Because I know exactly what I’m going to tell him while I’m going to stutter to Michael.” Antonia shook her head slightly. If she were honest she wasn’t looking forward to either, talking to Caleb and telling Michael about everything that had caused her to be the way she was. She hugged him once again and smiled before she got up and left the room.

“You know he will respect you so much more for telling him yourself, don’t you? You’re right about that, running from it will only make it harder in the long run. As much as I would do it for you, if you needed, I would do anything for you. He will be better off hearing it from you. I am sure he will be there for you, when you tell him, but if he isn’t, just let me know and I will happily kill him, hey, we can let Mia in on the fun, she loves a good murder.” Theodore nudged against her, chuckling slightly. “You best make sure you come back and speak to us both madam, or Michael won’t be the only one Mia is planning to murder you know.” Theodore waggled his finger at her, smirking.
“I hope so.” Antonia sighed, nodding slowly. She had really hoped that she wouldn’t have to tell Michael about all this but then again she knew that she had been kidding herself the whole time. She would have to tell him, there was no way around this. “I’m done with running from things. And I have to tell him … Thank you, Teddy. It’s wonderful to know to know that you would do so much for me.” She couldn’t stop herself from laughing when he nudged against her, telling her how he would really like to kill Michael should he do something wrong. “Yeah, I … I can imagine that.” She giggled. “But please, try not to kill him, ok? Don’t worry, you’re not getting rid off me complaining to you.” She grinned at him.

“Well, I am sure you could Coco, the truth hurts is a well known saying, isn’t it? So, there will be times when the truth will hurt. I will just have to hope that I never, ever, ever, have to hurt you. That is the very last thing I want darling, and it thrills me more than I can tell you that you trust me, that is all I want. I want you to feel that you can tell me everything, even if you think it would hurt me, ok?” Michael kissed her softly, looking at her intently, willing her to understand just how serious he was in that moment.
“But most wounds heal.” Antonia shrugged slightly, a little smile on her lips. She didn’t want to think that anything Michael could tell her would ever hurt her. She had been telling Damia and Theodore that she didn’t think he would ever be capable of hurting her and she still believed that more than anything else. “I know that you wouldn’t want to hurt me but I still don’t think I could be upset with you for telling me the truth. Well, at least not for long.” Antonia moved her lips tenderly against his, looking back into his eyes. She knew that she would have to tell him everything at some point but she couldn’t bring it over her right now. She wanted to dwell on the happiness they were experiencing right now and not spoil it again.

“I suppose, yes, well, it is better to be honest, it is better to be upfront, because relationships are worth nothing, if you don’t trust each other hmm? I trust you, more than I think anyone else Antonia, and I will do anything to help you feel the same about me. I will help you no matter what, I will be here, protecting you, loving you, and living with you, because that is all that I want now. It doesn’t matter what happens, or how it happens, as long as we face it together.” Michael closed his eyes for a moment, as she moved her fingers against his cheek, sighing contently. “I love you, so much!”
“I could never be upset with you for being honest, ok?” Antonia looked at him, wanting to make that clear. She didn’t think that it mattered what had been in the past, the now mattered. “I do trust you.” She insisted, feeling unbelievably touched by his words. She would have never thought that she would be one of the people someone like Michael really trusted but this confession really meant a lot to her. Antonia wanted to reply with how much she loved him but she figured that she didn’t want to speak right now. So she simply leant in once again, running her lips tenderly against his own, inputting as much emotion as she could muster up.

“I know it’s hard darling, I do, really, I have never spoken properly about my, well, you know.” Theodore gulped, unable to even mention his mother at that moment, least of all think of her, “Only to Gem, and, she only knows a small part, so I get that it is hard, to speak of those things that scare you the most, that have traumatised you the most. Would it help, I mean, do you want me to speak to him, to maybe tell him, so you don’t have to actually speak of it? I just think, that, well, if you care for him, and evidently you do, then, you are going to need to tell him at some point. You can’t develop your relationship, keeping everything back, and I speak from experience on that point, unfortunately. Still, of course, until you are ready, then you come to me, and you go to Damia, and just, don’t go through it alone, don’t hold it in, because it just makes it worse sweetheart.” Theodore kissed her forehead, holding her tightly, “I wish I could just take it all away for you!”
Antonia nodded, knowing how hard it was for Theodore to talk about things that were upsetting him. Not really knowing what she should say she just squeezed him a little tighter for a moment. The problems all of them were going though sucked so much. “Thanks for the offer but I’ll have to do that myself. There’s no use running from it, right?” She really didn’t want to talk to Michael about all those things but she owed him to be honest, to open up. That was the meaning of relationship and love in the end, wasn’t it? Letting the other one in. “I promise I’ll come and talk to you or Mia. I mean, it’s what I’ve been doing for years, right?” She smiled when he kissed her on the forehead.

How about you grow that much of a backbone to dare and say that to my face? If you asked me you having to hide your face and identity before you dare saying such things means you are scared that I could react differently from how you all think I would.
